Role: Illustrator & Designer
Completed a 24-page children's book from a client-provided manuscript for readers ages 5-12. Created the illustrations, cover design, and page layouts, developing compositions that integrate the artwork with substantial narrative text. Hand-drawn digitally using custom brushes inspired by graphite, watercolor, and gouache. Available as a hardcover, with fun facts and a family activity included on the final page.
Written by Patricia Evans. Self-published in collaboration with Heart2FragileHeart, a nonprofit organization.
While visiting her grandfather in the hospital, Hope enters into a mystical journey where the basic signs of life shed light on hidden truths. She awakens to discover that the adventure she had with her grandfather may have prefigured a special new relationship.
